摘要：
The?APOLLON-10P?laser?systemis?a?Ti:Sa?based?laser?that?will?deliver?150?J?in?15?femtosecond?pulses?(10?PW);?after?focusing,?intensities?up?to?2x1022W/cm2will?be?delivered?to?the?experimentalists.?This?will?allow?reaching?the?so-called?“ultra-relativistic?regime”?where?both?the?electrons?and?ions?are?expected?to?be?relativistic?and?thus?allowing?for?the?exploration?of?novel?matter?properties.?We?will?operate?APOLLON-10P?laser?as?a?user’s?facility?and?we?aim?to?attract?new?usercommunities,?national?and?international,?with?the?help?of?well-equipped?experimental?areas.?The?Apollon-10P?project?is?part?of?a?larger?consortium?called?CILEX?–?Centre?Interdisciplinaire?Lumière?Extrême?located?in?Palaiseau,?France?and?includes?eleven?local?laboratories.?This?center?will?be?based?at?l’Orme?des?merisiers?and?comprises?three?entities:?i)?the?APOLLON-10P?laser?project,?ii)?the?associated?infrastructure?and?experimental?setup?and,?iii)?two?100TW?class?lasers:?UHI100&?LASERIX.First?light?of?the?Apollon-10P?is?scheduled?for?2016?and?a?User’s?Meeting?is?planned?for?Q1?2016.
