报告摘要:In?this?talk,?an?attempt?will?be?made?to?review?the?present?status?of?calculations
based?on?a?specific?implementation?of?Density?Functional?Theory,?that?is,?nonrelativistic
Skyrme?functionals.?These?functionals?have?reached?a?quite?high?level?of
sophistication.?At?the?same?time,?we?still?miss?a?universal?parametrization?that?can
explain?ground?states?and?excited?nuclear?states?on?equal?footing.?Some?ideas?for
the?improvement?of?these?functionals?will?be?presented.
At?the?same?time,?we?will?describe?a?complementary?approach?which?is?based?on
particle-vibration?coupling?(PVC).?The?idea?that?the?nuclear?spectroscopy?around
a?spherical?core?is?governed?by?the?interplay?between?single-particle?and?vibrational
degrees?of?freedom?is?quite?old?and?well?established.?In?this?contribution,?we
shall?nonetheless?describe?a?new?formalism?which?is,?in?principle,?non-perturbative
and?contain?no?adjustable?parameters.?Applications?to?giant?resonances,?charge-exchange
transitions?and?low-lying?states?in?odd?nuclei?will?be?discussed.
A?critical?perspective?will?be?drawn?as?it?emerges?from?the?comparison?between?these
different?approaches.
