报告摘要:Since more than fifty years Brueckner-Hartree-Fock (BHF) theory has been applied for ab-initio investigations in nuclear structure, based on the bare two-body interaction between the nucleons. It leads to a density dependent effective interaction in the nucleus. After intensive work in the sixties and seventies it has been recognized that non-relativistic BHF-theory fails to reproduce nuclear saturation properties. Most of the groups left this theory turned to phenomenological density dependent forces.
Nearly all the modern non-relativistic ab-initio calculations use bare three-body forces. One the other side it has been found at the beginning of the eighties that relativistic versions of BHF-theory are able to reproduce the saturation properties of nuclear matter without three body forces, but many problems remained. Only recently the full relativistic BHF equations were solved for finite nuclear systems. This is an essential step forward for a ab-initio derivation of covariant density functional theory.
